Brazilian Cooperation for International Development — COBRADI

Brazil has been systematically compiling and publishing statistics on international cooperation for development over the last twelve years in the reports titled Cobradi — Brazilian Cooperation for International Development. The research is a partnership between Ipea and the Brazilian Cooperation Agency (ABC) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The objective is to process data related to the Brazilian international cooperation initiatives with partner countries, both bilaterally and through multilateral agencies, in consultation with various national public institutions. The scope of Cobradi encompasses Brazil’s activities, programmes and cooperation projects for partner countries, groups of countries, and multilateral and regional organisations.
